Where to Find Me

There are a few places on the internet that I love that often help me with my writing, or give my poor brain a short vacation when I need an hour break. Some of those places I treat like home. Some of them are places I go to read my heart out when I need inspiration. All of them are awesome!

Common Sites

Forward Motion

This is a place for writers by writers. I spend most of my day here, whether I am writing, or just chatting. The people are friendly, helpful, and many of them are published writers, whether indie or traditionally published. In truth, I would not be the writer I am today if not for the lovely people in this community. I owe them many thanks, and they all have my heart.

Romance Divas

This is another place for writers by writers, though their focus is romance. Romance Divas is swiftly becoming home. These Divas (both men and women) are almost all published writers and the forums are chock full of valuable information for both those looking to self-publish, and those going the traditional route. This is a safe place for authors of romance and fiction with romantic sub-plots to share ideas, rant and rave, find a helping hand in almost every aspect of writing, publishing, and every day life, and be supported by awesome, caring, and genuine people.

A note for those wanting to join Romance Divas’ Forum: after you authenticate via your email link, an admin must approve you. They do this in batches, so please be patient, as forums access may take a few days.

Raythe Reign

This site is phenomenal if you enjoy a good read. They are technically gay romance stories. However, they do not read like romance. The stories are engaging, fun, and often keep me on the edge of my seat. It is serial novels at their best. There are many completed works to read, as well as the many she has that are still ongoing. Serials are updated twice a month, and there are usually 7 novels and 3 manga going each month. When one ends, she begins another, and I have read, and am reading all she has. To me, they are all amazing stories worth the $9.95/month subscription fee.

NaNoWriMo

National Novel Writing Month is the month of November, and I have sporadically participated in past years. I intend on participating every year from now on. Writing 50,000 words in 30 days is absolutely doable, and I can’t wait for this year’s go at it. I will be a winner for sure.
